FROLICKING IN THE FOREST!
Williamstown's wonderful biennual Wirraminna Forest Frolic attracted over a hundred guests on Saturday 8 February (2020) for a night under the stars in an event regarded as a highlight of the Southern Barossa's social calendar.
Held in sheep yards and a shearing shed of a local farm within the Mt Crawford forest, the unlikely location provided a glittering formal dining experience among pine trees, hundreds of fairy lights and beautiful table settings.
The evening featured live music by the KGB big band, a formal dance floor for those who enjoyed 'cuttin the rug' and a lively and fun auction, raising money for Wirraminna.
This special and unique evening is regarded as a true highlight for the Southern Barossa community and went far into the night as guests enjoyed the best Barossa wines and food - and an 'old fashioned' country get-together.

WILLIAMSTOWN SAYS G'DAY IN THE NICEST POSSIBLE WAY ON AUSTRALIA DAY!
Williamstown threw the best Australia Day breakfast this side of the black stump on Sunday January 26 (2020) as more than 100 locals turned out for sangers'n'sauce to remember Australia's past and salute its future!
Appropriately, the Aussie breakfast was held at Colonists' Corner - the town's great park commemorating the pioneers whose hard work and perseverance made Williamstown one of SA's best country towns.
Thanks to the Williamstown Action Group, the morning's BBQ was terrific. Our own great celebrant Robyn Dennard led special thanks to our local hard-working CFS volunteers who have been helping stem fires locally and interstate, before leading Williamstown-ites in a rousing National Anthem.
Did ya miss it? ...Or want to revisit it? CHECK OUR VIDEO BELOW (runs 5 mins 10 secs approx), then check out our photos (click on them to bring them up in size, then look for the right and left arrows to navigate forward or back). Go on...ya know you want to! Knock the top off a stubby and revisit Ozzie Day in Williamstown! Ozzie! Ozzie! Ozzie! Oi! Oi! Oi!
