The Southern Barossa Business Awards celebrate and promote the incredible businesses in the Southern Barossa Region. This initiative is not only about recognition but also about fostering connections and understanding the diverse businesses in our community. We strive to be inclusive, so if your business is connected to the Southern Barossa, we encourage you to get involved. Not sure if you qualify? Reach out, and let’s chat!

Geographical Limitations
These awards are exclusively for businesses operating within the Southern Barossa Region. To be eligible, businesses must either be based in the Southern Barossa or demonstrate that their primary work and impact occur within the region. Businesses located outside the area are also welcome to apply if they can provide clear evidence of their significant contributions to the Southern Barossa.

Awards Entry & Categories
Each Southern Barossa Business membership allows you to nominate your business for one award category. Want to compete in multiple categories? No problem—just ensure you purchase a separate membership for each additional category. Don’t miss this chance to showcase your achievements and contributions to the Southern Barossa!

VOTING OPENS: 1 March 2025
VOTING CLOSES: 30 April 2025
GALA DINNER: Wednesday, 18 June 2025, Lyndoch Hotel “Red Room”.

Includes a welcome drink on arrival. (The bar will be open for additional drink purchases throughout the night)

Potential Business Types: Wineries, breweries, cider houses.

Criteria: Acknowledges groups that foster community spirit, inclusivity, and engagement. Nominees must highlight their contributions to the Region, their impact on residents’ lives, and any unique initiatives or programs they run.

Potential Business Types: Sports clubs, cultural associations, volunteer organisations.

Criteria: Celebrates events that enhance the Southern Barossa’s reputation and attract visitors. Entrants must demonstrate creativity, effective organisation, and positive community or economic impacts.

Potential Business Types: Street parties, festivals, charity events.

Criteria: Recognises businesses excelling in food, drink, or overall dining experiences.

Potential Business Types: Cafés, restaurants, local pubs.

Criteria: Honours businesses delivering outstanding expertise and client support. Submissions should showcase innovation, reliability, and community contribution.

Potential Business Types: Legal firms, accounting services, consulting agencies.

Criteria: This award celebrates businesses that prioritise health, beauty, and self-care, offering outstanding customer care, innovative practices, and quality services or products. Nominees must demonstrate their commitment to enhancing their clients’ wellbeing and lifestyle through positive outcomes, accessibility, and community contributions.

Potential Business Types: GP clinics, aged care facilities, physiotherapists, hair salons, spas, and makeup artists.

Criteria: Highlights operators offering memorable, high-quality experiences that boost the region’s appeal. Entrants should demonstrate their impact on visitor satisfaction and regional promotion.

Potential Business Types: Tour operators, adventure experience providers, heritage sites.

Criteria: Acknowledges tradespeople excelling in workmanship, reliability, and customer service. Entries should include examples of completed projects and community impact.

Potential Business Types: Builders, electricians, plumbers.

Criteria: Recognises businesses that provide essential or specialised services with professionalism and care. Nominees should illustrate their adaptability and value to the community.

Potential Business Types: Cleaning services, childcare providers, IT support.

Criteria: Celebrates stores offering exceptional products and customer service. Entrants should showcase their innovation, local focus, and contribution to the region’s economy.

Potential Business Types: Boutiques, gift shops, speciality food stores.

Criteria: Recognises establishments delivering exceptional stays with a focus on comfort, customer satisfaction, and showcasing the region’s hospitality. Nominees must highlight their uniqueness and customer feedback.

Potential Business Types: Hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, holiday rentals.
