Barossa Park

The Lyndoch Recreation Park upgrade was completed in February 2025 and is now known as “Barossa Park”.

The existing oval was upgraded to meet AFL standards with a capacity for 10,000. A new multi-purpose building comprising a 300-seat event space, commercial kitchen, clubroom, multi-purpose change facilities and gym, was also developed at Barossa Park.

Also included within the precinct is a mini Adelaide Oval replica bar, new netball courts, a recreation green, and a second oval accommodating an athletics track, along with a playground, a family garden, additional carparking, and a formalised roadway.

The facilities cater for major arts, festivals and community events. Looking for a venue to hold a sports event, conference or a memorable party? Barossa Park is the perfect venue! The Barossa District Football & Netball Club manages Barossa Park on behalf of the Barossa Council, and spaces are available to hire for community, commercial, corporate and other events, either regularly or on a once-off basis.
