THE FESTIVAL OF FOOTY IN THE SOUTHERN BAROSSA
The Barossa AFL Gather Round kicks off in Lyndoch on the weekend of 12 April, celebrating all things Footy in South Australia over one action-packed weekend – 18 teams, 9 games and one massive festival of footy. For the first time, AFL Gather Round will venture out to the new Lyndoch Recreation Barossa Park in the Barossa Valley, showcasing even more of South Australia to footy fans.
The new “Barossa Park” venue includes a multi-purpose building comprising a 350-seat event space, clubrooms with commercial kitchen, multi-sport change facilities and gym, a mini Adelaide Oval replica bar and service area to support events and the cricket club, new netball courts, a recreation green and second oval, athletics track, shelters, a new playgroun and family garden, more carparks and a formalised roadway.
Come for the love of the game, stay for everything the Southern Barossa has to offer.
